“Horrible university, the professors are very condescending and rude to international students, it leads to a very hostile and uncomfortable environment. To be honest I am unsure why this university even does international exchanges because it does not cater to international students at all. The scheduling process is a nightmare and professors discriminate against foreign students. I was kicked out of a class with no base what so ever, other than the fact that I was international and the professor did not like international students, very unprofessional.
In addition, somebody should probably investigate this university because it is generally a joke. Nobody here does any work at all but professors never give out high grades just to make it seem like their classes a difficult when in reality they are not. I doubt half of my professors even have a PhD. After only one semester here, I would question anybody that has a degree from this university as my cat could probably attend the university for a couple years and receive a degree.”
Richard James

“Awful organisation and very poor communication, staff aren’t helpful or friendly in the slightest! Buildings are lovely, shame the quality of education is worse than the architecture of the campus. Which very much reflects the mentality of the students who attend this establishment… the light is on but no one’s home. Would very seriously recommend NOT studying at this university unless you have no other choice.” Cat Kevern

“DO NOT STUDY HERE/ NO ESTUDIAR EN ESTA UNIVERSIDAD

I’m an international student from Central America studying Civil Engineering here at UE Madrid. I swear to God the staff here is awful. Nobody cares about you. Most professors couldn’t care less about you. The campus and the buildings are beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but what’s the point of having beautiful buildings and campus and machinery if you the professors can’t teach right and don’t care about you. Also, I didn’t choose my own classes, I was simply given classes, and they put me in an advanced class that I shouldn’t even be taking. They told me it was too late to do anything about this class, so too bad. DO NOT STUDY HERE

NO ESTUDIE AQUI” Julio Chavez

“I only give this University one star because I can’t choose zero. The thing is the admission procedure is so slow, they tell you one thing one day and the next day something else. My sister has been studying here for a year already and this University is really unorganized. DO NOT GO HEREEEE.

They give you a problem for EVERYTHING and they just want your money.” Soraia Alonso

“This university is terrible. i would not recommend for international students at all. they do not take care of you. once they get you admitted they forget about you and are so unhelpful. gives the impression they just care about money. no pastoral care. and the lecturers are not good, they don’t teach well and most of them don’t speak good english so it’s almost impossible to learn. you basically teach yourself. they are sooo terrible with student services and don’t help at all with most problems and some of the ladies have a nasty attitude. i don’t know how they are with spanish students but with international students they‚Äôre terrible. the teachers are nice people but not good teachers and you don’t learn well. the methods of teaching are terrible. i would not recommned at all and i strongly advise the university to improve so many people are complaining.” Salted Caramel

“When you accept international students you should make the courses available in english, because some students can’t graduate unless they pass the exam in spanish, if you want to be racist to your language that’s fine we understand that but do us a favor and don’t lie about how good the university is and steal our money.
Thank you for reading my review”
Ali Haydoura

“I gave the university a bad review and they acted like they were concerned and wrote (on the review) that I should reach out to them and explain my experience. I wrote but they haven’t answered in a long time now. Somehow I feel that that was just an act.

So I write again to expose my situation:

Im in need of an official dokument from the university so that I can graduate in my studies. They make it impossible to get contacted and send me in a bureaucratic loop where I get nowhere. It is very frustrating and scary that they feel that they can do that.” Daniel C

“A tree branch fell on my car and scratched it in the parking lot of building A, I told the colored gardener and he paid no attention, he started looking at his cell phone and every time I go there he is looking at the cell phone. What surprises me is that there are no more scratched or damaged cars” Matthieu Riboulet

“Absolutely horrible all they care about is money they don‚Äôt care about helping you at all. I am transferring out of this school and i‚Äôm trying to get my transcripts and they are an international school with nobody who speaks any english on the phone. THEY HUNG UP on me THREE times after I had already been on hold for 30-40 minutes when they didn‚Äôt know what to do. All I am simply asking them to send my transcripts to a new school in the states.” Victoria Madsen

“ATTENTION TO STUDENTS WITH A GED DIPLOMA!
This university pretends they accept a GED diploma.
They will take your money for enrollment, a full year’s school fee and also «Help» you to find a dormitory that is $13000 U.S. a year.
After you have paid for all of that, got enrolled, received a student ID and got a supervisor assigned they will tell you that you have 1 month to provide them with a validated High school diploma.
This is our story!
We went to the Ministery (homologation) this week with our diploma only to find out that Spain does not accept a GED diploma.
We told them we were accepted to the school and the school told us the only thing we need is to get the diploma verified in Spanish.
We were rejected.
All the time, money, plans, hopes we invested just went down the drain at that moment.
I can’t describe the shock.
My niece (who is the victim) hasn’t stop crying for days.
Please also be aware that nobody in Spain speaks English or they pretend not understand you.
The school tried to pretend several times they lost our documents to gain time.
So here we are; We paid $ 30000 U.S. to get into this school.
Lost a whole school year because we missed the application deadlines for all schools for 2022-2023, my niece will have to retake TOEFL.
Of course, we are taking legal actions because this kind a damage can’t just go away by simply saying «oh sorry, we didnt know what a GED was».”
